Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
This indicates that something with the JavaScript is not loading properly.
If this really also happens after deactivating all other plugins, and after switching to a WordPress default theme (like TwentyFifteen), and after clearing your browser cache, I can only assume that some JS files of WordPress can somehow not be loaded (or don’t exist).
Could you therefore try those steps again and then also re-install WordPress (there’s a handy button for it on the “Dashboard” -> “Updates” screen).

Tobias

Hi,
Apparently, there has been some problem with my update. I cannot see the “reinstall” option. All the time I get the message “An updated version of WordPress is available.” I click to update to WP 4.1, the update runs, says it was done successfuly, but then I get the message “Welcome to WordPress 3.9.3” …
And the reminder “WordPress 4.1 is available! Please update now.” is still visible.
I tried to deactivate all plugins, switched to TwentyFifteen and run the update again, but the effect is the same.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Piotr
Hi,
that sounds strange, indeed.
In that case, I suggest that you try the update manually, i.e. download WordPress and update via FTP.

Hi Tobias,
Thanks a lot for your help. It was partially the upgrade problem. I run my application on Openshift and to finalize the wordpress upgrade, the app needs to be stopped and started again. This solved the problem.
Cheers,
Piotr
Hi,
ah, interesting! Good to now that, and great to hear that you were able to solve this!
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
