plugin:dynamic headers not working for category pages

im using dynamic headers with a range of images for each different category and on single posts its working fine, the homepage is fine but when i select a different header for the category list/archive pages it still only displays the default homepage header. all except one that is. that category page works… but i cant see any difference in how it is coded. all the category pages also use the “page links to” plugin if that makes any difference. anyone have any theories as to why this may be occuring? cheers
