  • My host ran Maldet on my server after being infected with what appeared to be a pharma hack. This was one of two plugins found to be a potential malware problems. Although installed, it does not appear in my plugin list and was denied access when trying to delete with ftp. Specific file is listed below.

    {HEX}php.cmdshell.unclassed.344 : /home/mysite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/zenkei-player/tags/1.0.2.2/project/default.php

  • That’s because the permissions on it are probably set to read-only so you can’t just delete it. Try reseting the permissions to read/write (644 typically) through your FTP client (if it will allow it) then try deleteing the file again.

Our sever host deleted it. Once again, it wasn’t in list of plugins from the dashboard.
