[Plugin: Yoast Breadcrumbs] Extra links displayed in breadcrumbs

A recent install of Yoast Breadcrumbs on WP 2.8.6 is working fine for pages and for the top level posts page.

But on individual posts, additional links are appearing in the breadcrumbs. For example:

How do I get rid of the entries marked **?
