[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] YARPP 3.5b4 — Sidebar widget blank?

Just downloaded the newest beta — very excited for custom post type support. I’ve added the widget to my CPT-generated pages, but instead of displaying “no related posts” like the last version it simply shows the title of the widget and nothing else. The related posts appear if I add them to the bottom of the post, though, so I know it’s finding them.

I can’t link to my site (it’s not public yet), but here’s the entirety of the relevant source code:

After that the code simply moves on to the next widget in the list. Anyone have a fix?
