[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] Upgraded to 2,0 – now not working - page 2

Hi,

I just used “automatic upgrade” to take me to v2,0 of YARPP and now it’s failing to work. The admin page comes up fine, but I get either “no matching results” or a PHP error (see below) depending on the options I select within Titles/Bodies/Tags/Categories. If I select any of them to any degree, I get simply “No related posts.” I’ve tried dropping the relevance from 3 (where it worked before) to 0.1!

If I set all four to “Do not consider”, I get the following error again followed by “No related posts.”:

Either way, no joy – a shame as the previous version was great!

I updated as well, nothing changed. The source just ends at the place where I added the <?php related_posts() ?> PHP dies. I am good for a debug versiona s well for the moment,b ut I have to do a server upgrade tonight and might just have to go back the the original one I had

Upgraded to 2.0.3 and I still get no results

@cdsanchez… we are doing some testing and Mitcho is prolly passing out about now… unless you are a champ at MySQL… then we gotta wait 😉

The same problem here – upgraded from 1.5.1 to 2.0.3 and now I get “no related posts” everywhere. I am running WP 2.5.1.

I’m using WP 2.6RC1 and YARPP 2.0.3 isn’t working. Actually the previous version didn’t work either.. It’s a pity because your plugin would be very cool… My options are: only condiering tags, match threshold 0.1.

I testes it with posts with same tags but still didn’t work 🙁

T_DNUMBER error is gone, but with the match threshold at zero I have the no related posts message…

Running WP 2.5.1 and YARPP 2.0.3 now…

2.0.3 returns no results. But I haven’t received an error message.

I apologize for the inconvenience! I’ve found the one main bug in the code (which basically tied everything to my own blog, thus noone else got any related posts)… try the current test (trunk) version: download it here and *please* tell me if this fixes your woes or not. In particular, for those of you getting the FULLTEXT error, I would like to see if this fixes it.

@wzeallor, please try the development version again… I believe I’ve nailed the fulltext issue now… it had to do with how those indices were used in mysql 5.

EDIT: Actually, I noticed that it always returns the same related posts. I don’t have a tremendous amount of posts on it but it should still vary. The relevance scores for all stories are always exactly the same when viewing as admin.

Using WP-Supercache if that matters at all.

I’ve just released version 2.0.4, what 2.0 should have been. I worked with @phorbidden and hopefully worked out a number of kinks. Please let me know if this still does not solve your issues.
