You can do this in the “display options” section of the YARPP settings, by changing the <ol>
codes to <ul>
.
Yeah I allready tried that in the “before/after related posts” section. But that didn’t change anything.
Where do I need to change it? Cuz I can see in the example, that it says ol. But I can’t change it to ul.
Yes, that’s where I suggest you change it. Can you change it and save the screen? Does the screen save your changes?
Ah so I checked it. The changes do work for the automatic lists underneath each post.
However, I’d only want the related posts in the sidebar, in the widget. Adjusting the template doesn’t change the appearance of the widget. Or am I missing something?
There are separate controls for changing which template the widget uses. This is with the widget’s options in the Widgets screen.
There are no options for the widget. At least, not in the YARPP options screen – and not in the widget area (cookingblondes.nl/wp-admin/widgets.php) either.
So you don’t see any options like this? Make sure you open up the widget by clicking the triangle on the right.

No. Just the question “Help Yet Another Related Posts Plugin promoten?”. There’s no display custom template box. Weird!
Is the “use custom template” option enabled in the YARPP options pages? Did you copy the templates?
I can’t tick the box, and no I guess I haven’t copied the templates. I was trying to find out how to do that a couple of weeks ago, but your website was down. Is there a tutorial up somewhere? Cuz I have no idea what to do :p
I’m so sorry to be wasting your time like this…
I see, that’s why. There’s instructions in the readme.
Happy to help. 🙂
