[Plugin: Yet Another Related Posts Plugin] <?php the_excerpt_rss(); ?> Conflict

  • YARPP seems to be conflicting with <?php the_excerpt_rss(); ?>. Whenever this tag / the excerpt of the post is called YARPP populates related posts. This occurs in a search or when you select a category to display the short excerpts of various posts. Any possible solutions as to why this is happening?

Bascically, instead of the wordpress excerpt, it is pulling related posts first. I need it to show the excerpt and not the related posts. Any ideas why this is happening or how I can fix this? Again, the only “automatic” option that I have turned on is to show it within posts.
