Today I just updated to new Yet Another Related Posts Plugin Options 3.5 version and just after this I’m getting following error on all posts:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /hermes/……../………………../wp-includes/formatting.php on line 805
My blog is dl.readforgreed.com and this problem is not in homepage and pages, but only in posts.
i’m facing exactly the same problem at indiebirdie.ru. So unfortunately had to switch it off for a while.
using WordPress 3.3.1
Ya, I also deactivated it and error fixed.
But we need a proper solution.
Got this error too after the upgrade:
Warning: strtolower() expects parameter 1 to be string, object given in wp-includes/formatting.php on line 805
Thanks all for your reports. Was this displayed on your posts or in the admin area?
Also, in case any of you know off the top of your head: what version of PHP are you running on your servers?
Thanks for looking into it Michael!
Not quite sure about the PHP version my server is running but I can tell you the error was display in the post, right where the related posts are supposed to be displayed.
Ah!! Nevermind. I believe I’ve identified the issue. Just to check: I believe all of you (a) are calling
related_pages()directly from your theme and (b) have the “display results from all post types” option turned on.
Working on a fix now.
I have the same problem.
i use related_entries() in my theme and (b) is correct.
My php version is 5.3
Alright, I believe I’ve resolved the issue. Here’s a new beta (3.5.1b1):
Please try this version and let me know if that fixes the issue or if you notice anything else. Thank you all!
Okay. I’ll probably wait for a couple more replies before pushing it as 3.5.1.
