[Plugin: XCloner – Backup and Restore] Permissions Error…?

  • Hi, I am receiving the error below when trying to restore my site. I have uploaded the files manually, so all I am attempting to do is restore the database. I have done it this way with another site recently, and had no issues. This time its the same setup, just a different host. Could that be a reason I am receiving the error below?

    Warning: fopen(D:/inetpub/MYURL/staging/xcloner.php/wp-config.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in D:\Inetpub\MYURL\Staging\XCloner.php on line 599
    Unable to write to configuration file D:/inetpub/MYURL/staging/xcloner.php/wp-config.php… Aborting…

    Is this a permissions issue? If so, what should my permissions be set to, for successful restoration, as well as security. Thanks!

    @xcloner

    You will need to make this directory D:/inetpub/MYURL/staging writeable by all users until you finish the restore; secondly, please access the restore script as XCloner.php and not xcloner.php in your browser

    Hope it helps! Ovidiu
