[Plugin: XCloner – Backup and Restore] Automated backup – Selecting Files

  • I have installed this plugin on my test server and it seems to be working great. My only question is with the Automated backup is there a way to specify which files you are backing up? For example, doing a manual backup you can exclude specific folders. I obviously dont need to backup my wordpress core files every time, just the custom themes/config file. I host quite a bit of servers and doing over 50+ full WP backups takes up quite a bit of space. Any advice on how to do this? Thanks in advance!

By default, all files from your Backup Start path are getting included, but if you want to exclude some files/directories, there is an input area in the XCloner Config->Cron tab for that.

Great thanks! Ill look into the config.
