    Looks promising but as soon as it’s acivated we get this error:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 81 bytes) in /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/wp-includes/pomo/mo.php on line 204

    Allowing 755 or 777 on mo.php makes no difference.

    WP installation is rock solid and no conflict among other plugins.

  • Hi zondar,
    This is surprising. It sounds like a server configuration problem to me. Actually we have translatable text in our plugin and it sounds that the fact of loading our plugin just increase the memory usage which is logical. I would advise you to just increase this value as you can. Doubling it can be a good idea.
    Try to do so using a command like the following, straight in the wp-config.php file for instance:
    ini_set(“memory_limit”,”128M”);

    You can also do it in your php.ini depending on what your host provide:

    ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (128MB)
    ; http://php.net/memory-limit
    memory_limit = 128M

    I’m not sure that’s is such a good idea to change the access rights of the mo.php file :). you’re better off leaving it as it was 755.

    Hope this helps,

    Ben

    Thanks for prompt response and advice Ben – very impressive.

    Some more investigation showed a conflict with another plugin (Postie).

    Deactivating Postie THEN reactivating WYSIJA THEN reactivating Postie has everything working (!) Don’t have time to probe further (or more accurately, client won’t pay for Sherlock Holmes type exercises!)

    Re: Access 777: No we never leave these open except for very brief testing.

    Cheers

    Zondar,
    I’m glad you made it work finally.
    Cheers,

    Ben
