[Resolved] [Plugin: WTI Like Post] Some customization

  • Hi! The plugin is awesome, but I’d like to tweak it a little bit.

First, how can I place $like_count-$unlike_count in my post’s meta? So rather than displaying two different variables in two colors, to display just one in a post’s meta besides the author and all that stuff.

Second, let’s say I click on like, and then I click on like again. Instead of displaying “You’ve already voted” or incrementing $like_count, I’d like $like_count to cancel the vote, so it decrements $like_count. And if I click unlike, to decrement $like_count by 2, so it not only cancels the initial vote, but changes it to unlike.

Thrid, how can I make the icons freeze after voting. So if I click like, the button remains in its green state, rather than returning to its silver state?

    Thanks!

The upcoming pro version will store the like and dislike count in post meta so you can use that way.
