UPDATE: I upgraded manually, but it still does not work with Android Jellybean.

Your settings are saved in your database, as you discovered. Remember to clear your device cache to be sure you’re seeing the most current changes to your site.

To determine if your WPtouch installation is functioning well on its own, temporarily deactivate all other plugins and switch to a basic theme such as TwentyTwelve. If all looks as it should, then you can proceed to troubleshooting the rest of your installation.

Thanks. It doesn’t appear that the Android JB glitch is related to other plugins (please see the separate thread on this forum).
Will WPtouch Pro also use the existing settings if I upgrade to that?

The free version of WPtouch and WPtouch Pro are different plugins, built differently from the ground, up. Your WPtouch settings will not port to WPtouch Pro but we are happy to help you get you up and running.

Because every WordPress installation is unique due to plugins, themes, and other customizations, your individual WPtouch Pro installation may or may not be 100% compatible with your individual setup out-of-the-box. Be sure to post in the customer support forums for setup assistance.
