Support » Plugin: WPtouch » [Plugin: WPtouch] suitably for a photographres portfolio? (pro – version?)

  • Dear Developers,

I would like to ask if WP-Trouch (Pro) is suitable for my needs:

    1) I need a menu which works with sub-pages, my page hierarchy is the following:

    – project1
    – project2

    Does WP-Touch support this?

    2) My main content are images with (sometimes) descriptions.
I wonder if WP-Touch support sliding gestures of content?
So I basically would like to slide between different div’s. Each one contain one div with a photo plus (optionally) another one with description

NextGen gallery is used for management of image content.

    3) Blog posts with images.
Most of my blog posts are long with some 20-30 images.
Currently java-script slider is used at the top of the post to show images, the text follows.
Is it possible to do some sliding of photos here as well?

    Kind regards,

    1. Only WPtouch Pro supports hierarchical menus at this time.

    2. If your slider contains some sort of navigation it should also work in WPtouch. So you know, there are users using Nextgen Slideshow feature in WPtouch / WPtouch Pro.

    3. If the slider is added in your posts they should also show up and work in WPtouch. If they’re custom to your desktop theme then you can try adding support for your sliders using a WPtouch Pro child theme.

    Dear Developers,

    Thank you the prompt answer.

    1. Ok. I’ll be looking at this once I got other stuff solved.

    2. and 3. :
For posts, sliders are part of them.

But apparently, something does not work at least for me. Both in original NextGen slider and my, self-written, slider. Both in Javascript.
I started the forum topic here.

Would be grateful if you can comment on that or just try accessing it and see what might be wrong.
