The free version doesn’t support desktop theme shortcodes, currently. WPtouch Pro allows you to include your desktop theme’s functions.php file, to allow shortcodes to work. We also have tutorials for customers on how to add short code support to WPtouch Pro.

BuddyPress is not directly supported in either version at the moment.

Never say never, they say. We’re not currently working on it, but if enough people want to see it, that could change.
Well the reason I say it would be of value clearly BuddyPress is a plugin that is highly being used in today’s world of social media. It’s also no secret and one that your company knows Mobile is blowing up fast.
It would seem like the two together would be a marriage made in heaven.
I’m on the list waiting for a BP mobile version. I would also buy the pro version. Buddypress mobile works fine with BP but it’s really poor with WP.
WPTouch compatible with BP would be really nice. 🙂
zorro, wceolin – With WPtouch Pro, you can exclude the BuddyPress-specific pages and have them load using the buddypress mobile plugin so the two can co-exist on the same installation.

By excluding the buddypress-mobile pages in WPtouch Pro, you can have WPtouch Pro take care of the rest of the pages/posts while buddypress-mobile handles the buddypres specific pages.
