Just a note for those using shortcodes and notice that they don't work on the mobile version. A really simple solution is to use a plugin called "Strip Non Registered Shortcodes for WordPress"

It might be a good feature to add to WPTouch but this combo is working great for me. Rather than doing a whole lot of tweaking in the WPTouch theme I just enable that plugin. Not to mention that the main site is not effected so I can still use all of those wonderful shortcodes!

hi, I was looking for a solution for the shortcodes issue, but then realized that I already had it and it's quite simple: just make a custom plugin and drop all the shortcode functions there. They will work even in WPTouch Restricted Mode...

In any case, this is a good practice, as you can swap desktop themes without having to migrate all your custom functions.
