[Plugin: WPtouch] Search Bar in Page

  • Am using the free version and it works well. My website has a search bar in the widget just for internal search (everything within that WP website) and on one page there’s another search bar in the body but only for external search (outside of the WP website).

When I use WPTouch on my website, and I pull up the Page, there’s no search bar. Only when I switch from mobile to regular view, I can see the search bar and if I type in and get the results and switch back to mobile, I’ll still see the results but no search bar.

Is this intentional or is there a workaround? Thanks.

    Hi deafbiz,

How is the search bar added? Is it added using a custom page template from your desktop theme? If so, that is why it will not show in WPtouch, since WPtouch uses its own theme. Just so you know, custom page templates are supported in WPtouch Pro only at this time.

    You’re welcome.
