    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    I have next to zero experience with code. I’ve created a ticket already at bravenewcode support. It’s the holidays, so it will be a while until any response is expected there.

    You can try deactivating that plugin by renaming it on your site files on the server – you’ll need to use FTP or Cpanel to do so – ask your hosting company how to do that if you don’t know. Find it here:


    WPyogi thanks for trying to help.

    Not sure if it was just an issue with my doing this on a Mac or not. The file initially would never download as a zip file. It downloaded as a php, then I made it a zip file prior to installing it to my site. I think some files may have been lost in that process, causing the error.

    I used a friends PC today to redo the process from scratch just now. Worked perfectly.
