[Resolved] [Plugin: WPtouch] Code visible at top of page on iPhone

  • On iPhone, a bunch of code comes up at the top, pushing the start of the mobile site halfway down the screen. The code starts with _gaqpush(['_trackPageview"]):

Not sure what’s it’s conflicting with, but I’d sure like to fix it. I’m not a coder. Anyone have any ideas?

Be sure you are using the latest version of WPtouch. There was a bug in an older version that displayed this Google Analytics code that has since been fixed. You may download the latest version from WordPress:

Thanks BNC. I just checked, and I do have the latest WPTouch installed.

I also just noticed that as I log into the site as admin from my desktop, the same code appears at the top of the login window!

    starpub.

That looks like your Google Analytics code. Are you running any stats plugins? Check if it’s one of your plugins that is causing the issue by briefly deactivating your other plugins one at a time.

Thanks for the good advice, BraveNewCode.
GoogleAnalyitcator plugin seems to have been the conflicting plugin. When I turned it off, the problem went away.

Since then, however, you evidently did something to WPTouch in your latest update and now the problem is gone. Good work!

Thanks again, and I LOVE your plugin.
