I’m going to look into the issue. I can’t seem to replicate it, it works on all my testing sites. 🙁

Your part way there… I just installed the newest version 1.4 and it is now working when placed in the body of a post: http://screwusandwemultiply.net/test/

Two things I think you should change:

    (1) When hovering over the “A”s the cursor does not change to a hand so it looks like there’s something wrong even though it’s working.

    (2) It is not working when put in the sidebar text widget. I suggest either giving it a widget or giving instructions on how to add shortcodes to sidebar (php widget and code) and templates.

Updated to have both of those features! 1.5 should be available momentarily.

Wow. That’s cool! Especially considering that having a sidebar widget and a post shortcode on the same page doesn’t interfere with each other!

Now, two more tweaks at it will be prefect…

    (1) The CSS that controls the look is does a inline style. This needs to be moved to a css file so it can be easily overwritten so we can change the look easily.

    (2) If you go to my test page, http://screwusandwemultiply.net/test/ and reload the page to make sure you start fresh. Notice the size of the tagline in the header: “Courage and grace under fire: A tribute to Dorli Rainey”. Now,try the resizer up or down, then hit the resizer middle letter which should take the text back to normal size. You’ll see that the tagline is larger than before using the resizer.

You are real close! Doing a good job 😀

    hi bradparbs,

for me the plugin still not work. At least however now the cursur changed to an hand instead of a text cursor. :/

trishahdee – both of those are planned for the next version, which might take a tiny bit longer than these updates did

bitweb – what version of WordPress are you running?

    3.4.1

    3.4.1

The version of our textResizer that my coder and I were working on has a section in the Admin that allows you to choose which id’s or selectors you want the resizing applied to. This way if you don’t want the header to be resized it doesn’t.

Maybe we can collaborate and bring the two together? My coder is MIA at the moment so I don’t know if he will have time to work on it with you, but I’d be willing to show you the code we have thus far. Contact me if you want to explore this: [ redacted, support is offered via the forums and not email ]

    hi bradparbs,

have you found out why the plugin is not working on my site?
I have many plugins running, and all of the seem working, except yours.
If you want I can make my website visible again, just tell me
