    Is it possible to have a summary with breadcrumbs rather than full text for articles? I would like for people to follow the link to my website if they want to read more to improve my rank/traffic.

    If you enable the "view external permalinks" option the links posted to your wall will be to your website.

    If you provide manual excerpts (filling out the "excerpt" box in WordPress when composing a post) or if you provider a teaser (using the "more" link while composing a post) those will be used in posting to the wall.

    Is there an option to post an excerpt not in the wall, but in the app itself?
    I don't want to publish in my app the whole article (included ADs).

    Is there a way to do it?

    here there are summary of the storys and link to the app:

    and here is the app:
    and in this last page I want the excerpt.

    It's not an explicit option in WPBOok, but you could hack it.

    In wpbook/theme/index.php where the theme outputs the_content() at line 437, you could replace the_content(); with the_excerpt();

    To deal with the tab view, you'd also have to change lines 118-122:

    $content = get_the_content();
          $content = apply_filters('the_content', $content);
          $content = str_replace(']]>', ']]>', $content);
          echo wp_kses($content,$wpbook_allowed);

    To use get_the_excerpt() instead of get_the_content, and perhaps run different filters against it?

    Yeah, it works perfectly like I want!

    I have only changed line 437.

    By changing line 118 in get_the_excerpt() nothing is different, it shows the excerpt in the main page, and it shows only the comments of the articles when I enter in the page of a single article (no content (nor a word of the content) is displayed).

    Anyway thanks. It was a simple solution that I'd have to found by myself. Thanks for your time.
