# [Plugin: WP_Multilingual] Permalink doesn’t work

 * WordPress 2.3.3
 * After activating WP-multilingual the backend still works, but instead of the 
   frontend the browser got 404 answer from the server.
 * Then deactivating Permalinks helped to show the website again, but with URL (…/?
   language=de).
 * How can I use now Permalinks again? Hope for your soon answer.
