[Plugin: WP-Weather] PLEASE READ: Plugin Will cease to work Nov 15
It looks like weather.com will cease to offer free forecast feeds as of November 15. I had a look at the ‘offerings’ proposed in the email I received below, but I’m not paying $20/month for weather data. Looks like I’ll have to find a new provider for weather information and re-write the plugin to use that…or let it die.

It seems as though it already stopped working. This is sad. It was the best weather plugin out there. Thanks to you for always keeping it updated and answering questions. Please try to rework it for another provider, don’t let your hard work go to waste.
Can we buy the feed from Weather.com and continue to use this service? IS this possible? Please let me know
I agree with ‘neononcon’. I hope you will rewrite the plugin so we can continue to use it.
@nishwrites, yes you can buy and it will continue on working with the plugin (until mattbta rewrites the plugin).
Actually, I did more investigation and they are making a push to target commercial sites with their new API and it is significantly more costly than $20/month.
I’m not sure if it would continue to function if one were to subscribe. It is possible though as the error message I got back from the service was invalid license key.
My difficulty here is that I’ve yet to find a good free alternative that supports international non US based cities.
