[Plugin: WP User Control] Unable to get into WP admin section after loading plugin

    Hi,

    I am unable to get into the admin section of my WP site: http://lifelicks.com. I suspect the problem may have been caused by the following steps I took:

    1. I uploaded the WP-User Control plugin into http://lifelicks.com.

    2. I then tried to see if I can log on as WP admin using that plugin. So I entered my WP username and password.

    3. Doing so did not log me in.

    4. I then tried to log in via the regular WP method (http://lifelicks.com/wp-admin). All I got was a blank page.

    It may be that my using the WP-User Control plugin to get into the admin section with the same username and password that I use as my entry into http://lifelicks.com/wp-admin may be causing a conflict, hence not allowing me into http://lifelicks.com/wp-admin.

    Would deleting the plugin fix this problem? If so, how can I since I cannot get into admin to delete the plugin? I can also try to FTP it from the server and delete the plugin code, but where does the plugin reside in the WP code?

    WP User Control can be used by both admin and standard users to log in. I use it to log in as the WP admin on several sites. It does not sound like WP User Control is causing your problem, but you can delete it (or any other plugin you may have installed) via FTP in the standard plugin directory location… WP_ROOT_DIRECTORY/wp-content/plugins/

    I was able to delete WP-User Control.

    You’re right, though, that the plugin is not causing the problem. I still cannot get into my WP admin panel at http://lifelicks.com/wp-admin. Would you have any ideas or suggestions on how to fix the problem? Your help is much appreciated!
