[Plugin: WP UI – Tabs, Accordions, Sliders] Tab Titles – Not reflecting what is there

  • This is what I have:

    [wptabs effect="fade" mode="horizontal"][wptabtitle post="4121" template="3"]Featured Movies[/wptabtitle]
    [wptabtitle post="270" template="3"]Featured Music[/wptabtitle]
    [wptabtitle post="251" template="3"]Featured Celebrities[/wptabtitle]
    [wptabtitle post="286" template="3"]Featured Sports[/wptabtitle] [/wptabs]

I was expecting tabs with the tab titles of ‘Featured Movies’, ‘Featured Music’, ‘Featured Celebrities’, and ‘Featured Sports’. Instead, the post titles are being used in the tab titles?

    Am I doing something wrong?
(Using version 0.8.5 of the plugin)

    Thanks!

Not at all. That’s the default behavior. Post title is used with the post argument.

    Hi Kavin,

Then how would I display a post, but have the tab title something other than the post title?

    For instance, in this accordion

    [wptabs type="accordion" style="wpui-sgn"]
      [wptabtitle post="1406"]EXCHANGE[/wptabtitle]
      [wptabtitle post="1404"]LEARN[/wptabtitle]
      [wptabtitle post="1401"]CONNECT[/wptabtitle]
    [/wptabs]

How would I display the accordion labels as EXCHANGE, LEARN, CONNECT? But still have the post content within the accordion?

P.S. – your documentation states and shows that it works this way http://screencast.com/t/iGN85ErAlxSE

    Thanks
