Add Jquery php to template (3 posts)

I'm wondering if I can hard code tab php script into a template instead of on the page using shortcode. I want my posts on my blog page to display within a tab as my content does on - http://surfacedeals.co.uk/ - is this possible? I'm aware that I will probably have to sort the css for the posts as well so that the posts fit inside the tabs.
    Thanks Earl

I too am anxious to see what functions or classes to use if I want to hard-code WP UI into a template (collapsibles for me). If no response here, I suppose I'll have to turn it on, make some shortcodes, then hard-code those classes and such... Official help here would be nice, because I know there's probably another function or switch to turn it on for a particular page when no shortcodes exist.

Hi macmeister, I think the reply to the post I put up (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/adding-simple-code-to-functionsphp?replies=3) may help as a starter - I'm not sure if the issue is the same (i.e. because wp-ui uses jscripts?). Maybe you could contact the guy who responded to me and ask him directly. Good luck, Earl
