I notice that when the auto tweet goes out, some of the time when I click it right away it takes me to a blank page that won’t load, however the post is up and I can see it if I just go directly to the post without using the link in twitter. Sometimes the url gets stuck on the shortened url and sometimes it actually pulls up the proper url of the post but regardless the page is still blank. After a few minutes the link starts to work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, -Michael Williams

So, you’re saying that the link always *eventually* works, but sometimes doesn’t work right away? That sounds like a potential issue with either the shortener or your WordPress site; but I can’t see any way that WP to Twitter could actually be involved there.

What shortener are you using, if any?

Yes it eventually works but sometimes gets stuck within those first few minutes of a post going up. I have a video showing what I am talking about. http://terezowens.com/video/Screen16.mov

I have tried a few of the different url shorteners as well as just used wordpress as the url shortener, right now it is set on goo.gl

I have asked my support team numerous times to help me but they can’t figure this one out either. Thanks for your quick reply. I really hope to get this issue fixed soon and not sure what is causing it.

That’s awfully weird. Honestly, that’s the only thing I can say at the moment – it really doesn’t make any sense. If you could capture the HTTP header information and email it to me (use the support form in the plug-in), I’d appreciate it – but I don’t know if it’ll be very elucidating.
