The following table caused memory problems and that pictures on the page
    http://snbchf.com/snb/distribution-of-fx-reserves/

    were not shown any more.
I had to remove the WPTabReloaded table.

    Hi,

the reason for this probably is that your installation is already operating very close to the PHP memory limit on the server (due to load and other plugins on your site). When WP-Table Reloaded is then activated/used it just happens to be that this memory limit is reached.
Can you therefore please try to increase your memory by following the instructions at http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

Also, you could already try to switch from WP-Table Reloaded to its designated and official successor TablePress, available at http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/tablepress

    Regards,
    Tobias

Hi Tobias, will consider to change to table press.

    I increased memory already from 256 to 512 MB ( in php.ini)

Does WP Tab Reloaded need so much memory ?

    Plugin Author TobiasBg

    (@tobiasbg)

    Hi,

no, usually WP does not need so much memory, and 256M is a lot already.
However, there are people with much bigger tables than this in WP-Table Reloaded, so I don’t think that this is a specific memory problem.

Do you get any error messages when WP-Table Reloaded is activated (or used)? You could look in the server error logs or enable the WP_CONFIG constant in wp-config.php.

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Should I enable WP_DEBUG_LOG ?

You speak of the server log in cpanel or in the the file system ?

    Peter

    (@geoorgge1968)

When I enter another WP table, even more complicated ones, into this page, then it works perfectly.
It is just this table which makes problems.

    Peter

    (@geoorgge1968)

    I have removed the #colspan#
    and it works now.
Think you got an issue with colspan.

    (@tobiasbg)

    Hi,

can you test this again with TablePress, to see if the issue with #colspan# happens there, too? I changed a few things there already with #colspan# handling.
It sounds like the algorithm is running into an infinite loop for some reason…

    Regards,
    Tobias

    I have installed Tablepress.
Should I deactivate WP Table Reloaded ?

How to migrate the tables ?

    Plugin Author TobiasBg

    (@tobiasbg)

    Hi,

to migrate just follow the instructions in TablePress, and at http://tablepress.org/migration-from-wp-table-reloaded/

the colspans were already out. But I imported it from HTML to WPTab Reloaded and have in every cell
    <div> </div>

    Peter

    (@geoorgge1968)

But there is another table that could not be imported. It had many links inside.

Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/geoorgge/public_html/wp-content/plugins/tablepress/views/view-edit.php on line 236

I will load up the dump file for you and will deactivate table press…

    Hi,

thanks for trying all this and for the information!

When exactly did you get these error messages (“Invalid argument…”)? During the migration from WP-Table to TablePress? Which method did you use? The import directly from the database or from a WP-Table Reloaded Dump File? Can you maybe make a screenshot of the error messages (so that I can see where on the page they happen)?
And: Which version of WP-Table Reloaded, TablePress, and WordPress are you using?

About those <div>s in each cell: Those do not come from WP-Table Reloaded or TablePress, thus they must have been in there in the original data already.

    Thanks!
    Tobias

    Peter

    (@geoorgge1968)

The error messages are displayed on the table press table content and on the page where the table is embedded.
The dump is the WPtable reloaded dump file created in step 1 according to your migration process. Just renamed extension into txt.
The best would be you try to import the dump into WP table reloaded and migrate to table press.
