[Resolved] [Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Missing tables after moving SQL database

  • Hello – I really loved this plug-in until I moved WP to a new server. I have moved the SQL database over but the tables didn’t seem to come over?

I still have full access to the old site but can no longer log in through wp-admin as it’s been redirected to the new domain.

Of course, I didn’t know to create a backup prior to moving the site. Is there anyway to resurrect my tables? They were highly configured and I’d hate to have to rebuild them.

    Thanks!

  • Ok, so I’m an idiot. I just double checked my plug-ins to try to resolve a widget issue and found that the plug-in wasn’t activated. I activated it and everything is there!

Whew! I guess I’ve moved my site back and forth so many times trying to resolve issues that I lost track.

I’m back to loving this plug-in! Thanks!

    Hi,

great that the solution turned out to be so easy 🙂

For the future, additionally to the SQL backup, I recommend to also create backups of the tables via an export, e.g. as CSV files and also as a “WP-Table Reloaded Dump File” (on the “Plugin Options” screen).

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks Tobias!
