 * Installed wp-table-reloaded but when I try to activate the plugin I receive an
   error: Error 500 – Internal server error. I host on 1and1.

 * Sorted. My host, 1and1, defaults to php4. Added a line to the top of my htaccess
   file
    `AddType x-mapp-php5 .php` Sorted

 * yep, that’s a standard issue on 1and1 hosting 🙂
 * Nice that you found the solution already. That should also speed up your site
   significantly and will make it ready for future versions of WordPress, which 
   might require PHP5.
