really bad work with colours : not available in backend 🙁
I have 2 tables one is blue/white and one blue/another blue > without editing anything
> function – each row has diferent colour option
I don’t appreciate the term “really bad work”, to be honest, and I would be glad if you could explain what you have in mind here. After all, you can easily edit colors through “Custom CSS”, which is possible in the backend. What where you expecting instead?
For the “plus”:
I’m not exactly sure what you mean here, as I can not see the tables. Can you maybe provide a link to the pages with your tables?
Also, keep in mind that your theme might influence the styling of the table. I’ll gladly check this, if you provide the URLs.
sorry I was in hurry and dissapointed 🙁 …
I use theme atahualpa which has a really greate work with css for table … but still can change the background colour of your header that is by the way great that you can sort collumns by click but I cant change the background colour … probably you use your own style not the default header style
plus – again the atahualpa uses the zebra feature for table in css
you use your own css style for zebra style …
dealing with colours it would be great if you would have in backend places where I can directly add color options
like cell color, row color, column color, border collor, …. header color,
no problem, I understand.
The Atahualpa theme is indeed one of the more complicated ones, in terms of working together with WP-Table Reloaded.
And as both were developed independently, it is clear that things don’t work the same and might even interfere (like the zebra feature).
Now, you have a few options: You could simply deactivate the usage of the “Default CSS” in WP-Table Reloaded (with a checkbox on the “Plugin Options” screen), and you could also deactivate the “Alternating row colors” in WP-Table Reloaded.
That basically gives the styling control to Atahualpa and you should see the styling of Atahualpa for your tables.
And for color styling, you have full flexibility in WP-Table Reloaded as well, as it allows you to use any CSS code for the table cells, and has several CSS classes available that you can use as selectors.
That’s actually a very powerful way. I acknowledge that there’s no direct UI to set colors, but I feel with CSS it is still easy.
thx for answer 😉
I would only add to the CSS and cell colour it would be great if your theme would have in the backend css code that you can directly edit and dont have to go elsewhere 😉
and thx again for answer 😉
not sure if I understood correctly, but you can add/edit the CSS in the backend, without having to go elsewhere. Just paste it into the “Custom CSS” textarea on the “Plugin Options” screen of WP-Table Reloaded.
sorry I aswered without looking at the plugin once again.
but what I am missing are CSS : examples
Atahualpa has in bold text beneath the CSS custom field default values so no need to google it .. it comes handy for those of us who are not so good with css / html
there are a few CSS examples in the FAQ and documentation sections on my website at http://tobias.baethge.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-table-reloaded-english/faq/ and http://tobias.baethge.com/wordpress-plugins/wp-table-reloaded-english/documentation/, as well as in quite a few threads here in the forums.
