Support » Plugin: WP Supersized » [Plugin: WP Supersized] post information appearing over the slideshow

  • I have been able to set up the slideshow and it works perfect. The issue I am having is the all of the post information is appearing on top of the slideshow. This would include the title, the area to leave a reply, social icons etc. Is it possible to have the slideshow appear on top of this info or not at all? It is probably something simple but I havent figured it out.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I am not sure I understand what you mean.
WP Supersized is supposed to be showing images in the background.
If you want it not to appear, go to the options of the plugin and choose on which pages/posts it should appear.

I am running it as a full screen slide show for our portfolio and our home page. It is the best that I have come across at adjusting the size to accommodate different screen resolutions. So it is working in the background but I wanted the slideshow to be the only thing showing on the screen. My solution was actually simple, so simple I felt somewhat dumb for taking so long to do it. Just enter some blank lines in the message area for WP and move all the data below the screens view. The beauty of it is now I can have the slideshow running like I want and have text data in the window but out of view unless you scroll down. I am sure this is a very amateur solution but it works exactly like I envisioned. I figure this has to help with SEO versus only having a WP generated slideshow running. You can see what I did at our website.

My goal with all of this has been to have a WordPress site that looks like a Flash based website. At this point I am very happy with the outcome.

The biggest issue for me now is to decide if I want the slideshow controls on the bottom or not. Any thoughts?
