• First of all I really like this plugin, it does what it should. I have added few questions and everything works right. The thing I disslike is the prefix wp_super_faq in the link, everytime you move with the mouse over a question you can see http://www.webadress.com/wp_super_faq/question

Is there any way to change this prefix to let’s say only “faq”? or is there a way to disable somehow that when you move the mouse over a question, you would not see the link to the question below the page?

Also, is there anyway to change the style of the text, size of the font, color, font itself?

  • You should be able to change the link just as you change the permalink for Posts and Pages. You can set the answer styles just as you would set them on the page (using either the visual or HTML WordPress editor). To change the question style add this (edited to your needs of course) to the end of your theme’s style.css Effectively, the FAQ is just a custom post type.

My apologies, I replied in haste, it looks like on a default install you cannot change the /wp_super_faq/ part of the permalink. However, if you install the Custom Permalinks plugin, it allows you to change that portion.

I am using both of these plugins in combination on WP 3.3 and 3.2.1.

    Thanks for your replies rexhaugen,

I have installed Custom Permalinks already, and I’ve tried to remove the wp_super_faq portion out of each question link, but it doesn’t change anything. How did you get it to work?

To my knowledge, I didn’t have to make any changes on my sites, it worked by default. Under Settings > Permalinks, what is your setup?

Under Settings -> Permalinks I got this /%postname%/ selected and then below there is something like optional section with category and tags but I have it empty.

Is it set to “Custom Structure” or “Post Name”?

Nevermind, “Post Name” is WP3.3. The WP3.3 server I have is set to “Post Name” and the WP3.2.1 server is set to “Custom Structure” with /%postname% (it doesn’t have a / at the end, might make a difference).
