• Hi,

I can’t see the editor in any pages or posts or when i add a new one

I think there is something trying to load in behind the default editor Tiny MCE

Same story in ie and firefox

I uninstalled the latest and installed an older version then upgraded that one but still no joy

    Any ideas appreciated

I cleared temp files a browser caches

    Using the latest wordpress version

  • What are you trying to do to the editor? Do you mean you added buttons?

To make WP Super Edit work you need to do three things:
1 – “Configure Editor Plugins” And activate the plugin you want.
2 – “Arrange Editor Buttons” And add the new buttons to your menu.
3 – SAVE! It’s easy to miss the save button but you have to do it or your new buttons won’t show.

You two especially might want to try out the development version being worked on for WordPress 3.0. I’m slowly moving it to support multisite set ups, and I’ve started moving some features to separate plugins in the package. It should only create three tables in the DB and won’t make three tables in every multisite sub-site tables.

The development version also gets rid of the very stupid buggy ajax method for scanning TinyMCE settings during the install.

I know it will still take me a while to wrap things up, but so far it’s working on my test sites.

I forgot, of course the development version is available from:

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-edit/download/

I’ll try to monitor things here, and I can usually be contacted on my site at http://funroe.net and twitter at http://twitter.com/ev3rywh3re

I’ve been completely buried by my job for about three years now, so my apologies that development has been slow.
