• Hi all,

First of all thanks for a great plugin.

My installation went without problem and the Super Cache is tested by proxy and working perfectly.

The WP-Cache is not working for me, I am seeing a new dynamic page on every load.

The cache on the server is being filled with files, they just don’t seem to be served and neither do they show on the admin page under WP-cache contents.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Michael

  • Micael,

I have an identical issue as yours. But I have 4 websites, 3 of which are add0n sites on bluehost.com.

The plugin works fine on all the addon sites but has the same issue as you on the primary site. The installs and setups have all been done the same way.

I’ve searched for months for an answer to this to no avail.

Hope someone someday figures this out.

    John

I have a WP 2.3.x site where Wp-Cache no longer seems to work anymore either. Maybe it’s because I’ve got an inappropriate version?

Have you followed the FAQ in the readme? Unfortunately it’s difficult to debug this with the information supplied.

@donncha, thanks for your reply. Wp-Cache has always worked for me until recently (really not sure when I noticed it stopped working) and I did try completely uninstalling the plugin, reinstalling it in the usual way, followed by another uninstall, manual reinstall.

It seems to be working just fine in the backend, but it just didn’t generate any cache files. At the moment I’ve re-enabled Gzip and just removed the plugin completely, but I think for the future (upon upgrading to 2.5.x) I’ll probably use WP Supercache.
