i just updated supercache to 1.1
i had the prev version which worked fine with mod_rewrite caching
but i had to hack the update on comment to work for my blog as it is in subdirectory, the hack was succesfull and i posted it in the support question for the specific feature of supercache

however when i saw the update i decided to update to latest version which the author said that had these issues also fixed.

when i updated and tried to setup mod_rewrite caching (which worked perfectly previously) i get the following PHP error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function apply_filters() in public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php on line 628

some help would be great on this,
    thanx,
    Nikos

Have you got the “make known users anonymous” checked? Uncheck that and the error should go away.

thanks Donncha, the fix worked great
    but isn’t it a bug,
as make known users anonymous should be an option
and i think in prev version it worked with this option on

    anyway,
    thanx again,
    Nikos

Yeah, it is a bug and it’ll be fixed in the next release.

This is the only error in logs and wp-admin is completely down. How and where should I update this option?

    Nevermind. I figured. Variable

    $wp_cache_make_known_anon = 0; //Added by WP-Cache Manager

    is in wp-content/wp-cache-config.php file
