[Plugin: WP Super Cache] super cache and Custom Taxonomies

  • I am using wp super cache on a site that uses a custom taxonomy for countries, this taxonomy is used like a standard tag, people can click that country and see all posts under that country.
When new posts are added all relevant pages (index and I suppose tags) display the latest posts.

The country taxonomy page does not display these latest posts.

The settings were very basic, just the minimal needed settings.

I have been playing around with settings, that always results in uopdated country pages but I am not sure if the country /custom taxonomy pages get updated automatically after new posts are added.

    Any advice appreciatied

Unfortunately taxonomy pages aren’t updated when a post is published or updated. You’ll have to enable the “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated” feature on the settings page.

Thanks for the tip, I will keep an eye on it to see if that did the trick
