    Hi,

Installation of WP-Super-cache was error prone and I ended up having to manually uninstall it. I amended the .htaccess, wp-config.php, and deleted the cache folders from the plugins directory as well as removing two cache related files in the wp-content folder.

Now the RSS import feeds fail to update at all. In fact, I reinstalled the RSS feed widget which updated the feeds, but during the next RSS syncing by WordPress the RSS feed reverted back to prior dates!

Can anyone please help me with this?

    Thank you.

Seems this is related to having changed server at the same time. I noticed that my feed updates when a post is made on my PREVIOUS website which is still on the old server. By changing the URL of the feed I can work around this issue, however, I would be interested in knowing how this WordPress feed “remembers” the old URL, even though the DNS have been updated with the new IP address.

The new feed URL I had to enter is the IP address of the new server. This cannot be correct. How do I fix this?

The URL I have had to enter is http://xx.xx.xx.xxx/server_address/feed/

Are you sure you’re not dealing with caches in Domain Name Servers? Wait 48 hours and see if it clears up.

Or maybe you are dealing with the same cache problem I was:
