• I got a new domain name, and moved everything over from my old one, and it works fine. But this plug-in doesn’t. Since I originally used a different name and db when I uploaded SuperCache, does this mean I have to reinstall it? I’ve been hacking around in my File Manager, and changed my NAME, DB, HOME, etc wherever I needed to, and also in wp-config, but it still doesn’t work.

I followed your read me instructions, and added the define( ‘WP_CACHE’, true ); line to the wp_config like you said. But I don’t have the wp-content/advanced-cache.php you said I should.

What is symlink? I never did that. I could copy it, I guess, but copy it from where? I don’t see it in my download folder for the plugin.

    My site: http://www.thecartoons.net

    Thanks for any help.

I found how to symlink here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/149713?replies=3 and wrote the file and uploaded it. Is the Advanced-cache file supposed to appear then? I don’t understand. Nothing happened.

I’ll wait to hear from you before doing anything more.

I found 2 weird files in wp-content: one was supercache_my name.tgz and one was temp.tgz. I downloaded both to my HD and then deleted them. Still no Advanced-cache file. My symlink is still there.

    Can anyone please help?
