    @gpsmapper

    I received a message from my host, saying:

    “Below are the recently upload scripts that contain code to send email. You may wish to inspect them to ensure they are not sending out SPAM.”

    Is it possible that WP Super-cache is the cause? It is referred to in several lines…

    • wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php:186: $message .= “\n\nDisable these emails by commenting out or deleting the line containing\n\$wp_cache_debug in wp-content/wp-cache-config.php on your server.\n”;
    • wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php:187: mail( $wp_cache_debug, ‘[‘ . addslashes( $_SERVER[ ‘HTTP_HOST’ ] ) . “] WP Super Cache Debug”, $message );
    • wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php:188: }
