    not sure if super cache can do this as i cannot find an option

    the test we ran on blog said we should do the following for certain pages
    Leverage browser caching
    The following cacheable resources have a short freshness lifetime. Specify an expiration at least one week in the future for the following resources

    any help is appreciated thanks

    Yes, there is an option to enable 304 caching on the advanced settings page but if you want to change the expiration of static files like images and css use Google to find the right .htaccess directives. There are plenty of docs on it.

    so if i select 304 caching? which I am sure is not available when using htaccess rewrite then look up on web to figure out how to do this??? ok lets hope i get right doc lol

    Hi dlc00,

    Please check out the official documentation on to setup expires in .htaccess file. Please be sure that your host has mod_expires. Otherwise, the example code would not work and your site may even come to a halt.

    Please note: One can not set expires on external URL such as Google Analytics script.
