Support » Plugin: WP Super Cache » [Plugin: WP Super Cache] how to manage permalinks – unicode text (Greek)

  • Hi!!!
I go to settings to choose pretty or custom permalinks structure, but as most of my posts and pages are in greek, the permalink does not work 100% or it becomes messed up.

Anyways… i ve tried or I dont want to try other solutions for permalinks… so in order to have the pretty / custom permalinks I need to enter numerical values such as the default page_id=xxxx etc

If I choose %post_id% only the POSTS appear in number and the pages with their slug (in greek)

Any suggestions as of what permalink structure can cater for both numerical pages and posts permalinks?

You could try legacy mode cache, or PHP mode caching. I’m not really familiar with unicode issues unfortunately.

    Hi donncha

thanks for the quick reply! I am really getting desperate with this.
I keep the default permalinks (the ugly ones) cause it helps with unicode etc.

however, keeping it in default, makes it weird – impossible to manage the plugin as it asks to be in other than Default permalinks for it to function…or at least access the admin interface.

I dont remember having any issues with this in the past! Any suggestions?
Should I download a previous version?

Also… SOMETHING REALLY WEIRD… in case you can help.
My home URL… from suddenly started redirecting to causing a 404 error ofcourse. Have you ever seens this? (in case it is related to SUPER cache)

Thanks for this and all the great work!

In previous versions did you get a warning about the permalinks?

I don’t know how that redirect is happening, sorry!
