[Plugin: WP Super Cache] Does disabling caching disable the CDN?

  • Hello

    SuperCache version is 0.9.9.9
    Server is using nginx + php-fpm

    I have a site where we’ve had to disable caching (by selecting “Caching Off” in the Easy tab to workaround a geo-ip issue.

    Does this disable the CDN too? Intuitively as that is still ticked (and tickable) one would expect it to still be working.

    It isn’t working at present but i’m only 95% that’s because of Supercache caching being disabled.

    Any thoughts welcome!

    @donncha

    The cdn depends on the plugin output buffer so I think it is disabled when you disable caching.

    OK that makes sense.

    As a suggestion – Might be worth explicitly disabling / greying out the CDN page when the cache is disabled?

    Many thanks!
