    Guys,
    after I put
    define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true);
    in my wp-config.php and created a real cron job on my server, wp-super-cache stopped clearing its cache.

    wget -q ‘http://www.example.com/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron’ -O /dev/null

    Was it an intended behaviour?

    Thanks for your time.

    Yes, the plugin uses the WP Cron system to do various things like clear the cache.

    But I created the cron job
    that call /wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron
    but the plugin stopped clearing the cache nonetheless.

    Thanks,

    You should probably debug the wp-cron.php script to verify that it is working as this is not the way it should be done. It sounds like it’s broken on your site now however.
