# [Plugin: WP Super Cache] cache is not cleared when using feedwordpress

 * Hi Donncha,
 * I am using the feedwordpress plugin (on[ this website](http://www.r-bloggers.com/))
   and I want to have the cache cleared (well, only the homepage, but I know that
   is not yet possible) when new posts are published.
 * For some reason, when I “manually” publish or update a post – the cache is cleared
   fine.
 * But when a new post is published through the[ feedwordpress plugin](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/feedwordpress/),
   the cache is not cleared (serving the old homepage cache).
 * Any solutions?

 * Use the debug system in the plugin to find out what happens when a post is made
   by FeedWordPress. Maybe that plugin isn’t running the usual WordPress action.
 * It may also be an unfortunate optimization in Supercache that only uses legacy
   caching when clearing out cache files if there’s a GET parameter..

 * Give the development version a go ([download here](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-super-cache/download/))
   as I changed a restriction on clearing the cache that may have caused this problem.

 * Hi Donncha,
    I just wanted to update you that this patch fixed the “clear cache”
   problem. And also that the green colors on the test looks good 🙂
