I just downloaded your plugin last Thursday and it’s great. I have a couple of questions.

1-What do I do so it wont track my visits?

2-How do I read the stats, I’m confused on this because when I go to the dashboard I get 10/2011:11=8831 is 11 the date? Then when I click on the day let’s say today 10/11/2011 I get October 11/2011:11=1224 Red, the Blue is a different number which I’m assuming it’s comparing to the previous day and the Yellow is the unique IP’s but then it keeps going 12-1-2 and so on are those the hours? so it shows what I get per hour?
Anyway to get all this data together per day so I don’t have to look at it hourly?

3-Compared to WP-stats my number are huge on your plugin do you know there would be such a discrepancy? does your plugin also count spammers?

    Thank you

Hi there, thank you for using my plugin!

1-What do I do so it wont track my visits?

Go to Settings > SlimStat > Filters and add your username or the IP address you’re connecting from

    I get 10/2011:11=8831 is 11 the date?

Yes, that’s the day of the month. When you click on a given day, you will get the stats for that day, and a hourly chart. Please take a look at the legend underneath the chart for an explanation of what those colors mean.

Compared to WP-stats my number are huge on your plugin do you know there would be such a discrepancy? does your plugin also count spammers?

Yes, spammers are counted and tracked, unless you explicitly decide to ignore them in the options. Some people may want to know what spammers do on their sites to take the appropriate actions!

Please don’t forget to vote for my plugin, it would be a nice way to say thank you!

Thank you, my stats are still very high in comparison, I like your plug in but I don’t get why the big difference.

Because the other one sucks 🙂 Jokes aside, consider that WP SlimStat is tracking ALL your visitors: spammers, bots, etc. I guess WP-Stats, being JS-based, lacks this functionality.
