Great plugin Konstantin! I couldn't get any of the other autosuggest plugins to work, but yours is great!

One suggestion for a future release: give the option to have the search execute when the suggestion is selected. Right now, you can pick the suggested search from the list, then it gets filled in the search input, then you must press enter a second time.

It would be cool if you only needed to press enter once, and it would select the suggestion and search for it at the same time.

I don't know if this is functionality most people want, but it would be pretty convenient!

    Hey Adam,

thank you for your positive feedback! :)

Concerning your suggestion: This is a feature I would love to see implemented as well, but as you can see from an other thread on this issue - I simply do not know how. It's not for lack of trying! :)

If you can come up with a solution, please let me know!

    Hey Konstantin,

What if you tried doing something like how Google does their searches? On Google when a suggestion is highlighted, it prefills the suggestion in the search box and then you only have to press enter once to search (well, 0 times with Google instant, but you probably get what I'm saying).

It's not quite as nice as the suggestions linking straight to their page, but I think that might be a slight improvement.

    P.S. One other suggestion:

Say for example this is your query: "Page Blog"

And this is a suggestion: "A Sample Page from my Blog"

When there is a split, none of the words are underlined (or bolded in this case).

If the query was "Page from" then it would highlight the string: "A Sample Page from my Blog".

Is there any way to highlight broken up strings, or is that too complicated/performance heavy?

D'oh! Just realized you already provided the functionality I basically asked for already. I had to change the .js file to have the right id for this:

It works perfect man! One thing I cannot figure out for the life of me right now though is how to change the ac_results class. I have two different search forms on my site, and need different styling for each. I've deregistered the css put out by the plugin and just added the css to my main style.css. I'm looking through the plugin code and can't figure out where it comes from.

    EDIT: Here we go:

    			resultsClass: 'ac_results',

Just change resultsClass as need be. :)

Oh, okay, there was a misunderstanding on my part.
I thought you wanted to get directly to the post itself.

But well - there you go! :)
