• I recently installed WP-ReCAPTCHA on two 3.1.2 sites. I have Akismet installed on each too. I seems that since my addition of the CAPTCHA plugin, my average spam entry count hasn’t really gone down. How can I really test our this plugin? I know I can go to the site and test it out myself and I’ve done that (while not logged in). I feel like spammers are just still getting through. Are there really humans getting past the CAPTCHA or are they actually automated? Is there some way I can see the rendered HTML/JS to truly validate that the plug-in is hooked up right? I’m a developer so I can get very intimate with it if need be. I just want to really know if there are key things I need to make sure are happening in the rendered code?

  • Uninstalled today after 100+ spam registrations. Ridiculous! Disabled registrations today and will have to find alternative tomorrow.
