• Resolved Refuge Denied

I’ve spent the last several days getting WP-Property setup the way I wanted – still not quite there, but learning more and more every day.

I normally use FireFox and unfortunately I didn’t bother to test with other browsers until today. I notice no issues with FireFox, but IE seems to pause (almost a small lock up) for quite a while when loading a page with WP-Property code on it. I thought it was just my test site, then I tested it on the following TwinCitiesTech site and saw the same result:

    http://sites.twincitiestech.com/wp-property/

At first I thought it was just pages loading Google Maps, but then I noticed the issue on summary pages as well (no maps there). I thought maybe it was my installation of IE 8, so I tested on a second desktop and my laptop and the same thing happens every time. As a last resort I called a friend and asked him to surf the above site in both IE 8 and Opera and let me know what he thought. He reported the same issues with IE 8 and no issues with Opera.

Any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it? As much as I hate IE 8 and lower, more than half the world is still using it.

EDIT: Thought I would add a page load profile screenshot from IE. Maybe this will help someone who knows more about this stuff than I do …
